Service Dog Training in Tampa
Bayshore Dog Training can now train your dog to become a service dog. This service work is for anyone looking to train their dog to help with daily tasks and assist in high-stress situations. We’ll instruct you on becoming a skilled handler while training your dog to become a certified service animal.
What does it take to become a certified service dog?
Service dogs require extensive training beyond basic obedience. They must be trained to perform and remain calm and attentive in any social setting, including those involving other animals, people, and children. When your dog has their vest on, they’re at work and must demonstrate impeccable self-control.
Dogs can be trained to serve those with mental, physical, and medical needs, though we do not offer medical alert service dog training at this time. Our service dog training is for handlers who may need extra mobility assistance and who have mental health concerns.
