Bayshore Dog Training is raising the bar on group dog training classes in Tampa! The Practical Pet Protocol is designed to be the MOST functional basic obedience class offered in the U.S. Although this is an introductory-level class (no pre-requisites), this class will amaze you!
This class is geared towards resue dogs, who need basic obedience and manners, we DO accept reactive dogs in this class as well.
ALL dogs must be up to date on vaccinations.
Dogs under 6 months are NOT accepted into this class. Please consider our in-home training if you have a dog under 6 months, or if you would like one on one training.
During the Practical Pet Protocol group dog training class, we will cover:
- How to teach your dog all basic obedience commands, including sit, down, stay, place, come, and heel.
- How to use these commands in real life scenarios, including our time-tested behavior modification techniques that uses the same commands you’ll be learning in class! This is information you’ll use for the rest of your life and even with every dog you’ll ever own. We practice using real life situations, including simulations of crowded environments and even a dinner table.
- How to enhance the bond between you and your dog on the foundation of mutual trust and respect. This is the kind of relationship that allows you to influence your dog’s behavior choices – not only while you dog is going through training but for as long as your dog lives.
- You will also receive a 40+ page booklet to reference outside of lessons, and a mobile app to utilize our training practices at home.
Not only will you receive all of the above resources, but to top it off, all classes are taught by our professional dog behavior trainer, Victoria Parker. Victoria works with dogs who suffer from a wide range of behavior issues – from lack of manners, to severe aggression – on a full-time basis through private in-home training. She understands not just how to resolve these behaviors, but also how to prevent them from happening in the first place. Who better than Victoria to teach our group dog training class in Tampa?!
